Silicone Nipple Ruler

• Measure prior to pumping or breastfeeding
• Stimulate flat or inverted nipples with your fingertips to bring them out
• When using the flat edge of the ruler, measure across the base of your nipple only, taking care not to measure any of the areola
• When using the circular guides, use the measurement of the smallest circle that the base of your nipple fits in
• Measure both your left and right nipples as it is common for them to be different and need different shields/convertors

Take your nipple base measurements and add 1–3mm to find your recommended Youha breast shields or convertor sizes.

If you are already breastfeeding, we recommend adding just 1mm onto your nipple base measurement (i.e. measuring 17mm + 1mm = 18mm breast shield convertor size)

If you are pregnant and not feeding, we recommend you add 2mm onto your nipple base measurement (i.e. measuring 17mm + 2mm = 19mm breast shield convertor size)
